My story

Good with strangers: yes Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: yes Fostered in St. Catharines, ON About Me: I am Vader and I have a story to tell but I need a family to help with writing a happy ending! I have made my way to southern Ontario from the far north (Ontario). Part of my story includes a time with too little food. Right now I am enjoying a “bulking up” diet. I have already gained 10 lbs since leaving the north. I am a laid back soul. Don’t get me wrong, I am enjoying wrestling and playing with my Foster family and I have lots of energy! But I don’t sweat the small stuff. I am just as happy, hanging out with my head in the lap of a human as I am going for a walk. I like playing tug-o-war but not sure about that fetch thing. I am crate trained, but I am trust worthy enough to be loose in the house. I am house trained. I am not into counter surfing, or begging for food from table. I won’t turn away from any treats mind you. I walk like a gentleman on the leash, until I see a squirrel. My foster mom is helping me curb my pulling on the leash. I am living with cats and dogs at the moment and getting along just fine with everyone. I am also a people person and I don’t have a preference for male or female humans. Anyone who wants to pat me on the head is fine by me! I travel well in the car, and like to go for a rides. I think my foster mom has some pretty funky stairs going to her basement. There is no way I’m going down those things! I’m not saying all stairs scare me, but I can say hers sure do! I am fine at the vet and don’t mind a little poking and prodding. Bath time is not an issue. I’m not gonna argue about getting clean. I expect most people are trying to help me, and I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am looking for a safe place to write the rest of my story. I can make myself at home in any furry and human family.
