My story

Meet Wilbert — A Gentle Heart with a Zippy Side Wilbert is a 2-year-old, 8.5-pound Maltese mix with a sweet soul and a soft spot for companionship. This little gentleman may start out shy, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see his playful side shine through—complete with joyful zoomies! Wilbert loves to be close to his people, following them around the house and happily snuggling in your arms. He knows how to sit, enjoys tiny treats, and is especially fond of squeaky toys. He’s easygoing, well-behaved during bath time, and is learning to feel more confident outdoors—especially when his favorite humans are nearby. We’re told he gets along well with both dogs and cats, making him a great addition to many kinds of homes. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who’ll bring both calm and cheer to your life, Wilbert might just be the perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
