I am a 8y old, Male, Mixed Breed, Large (over 44 lbs fully grown) mix. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on my vaccinations and preventions. His eyes hold the quiet strength of a soul who’s seen storms pass, both literal and figurative. Calm in nature and gentle in spirit, Zeus moves through the world with the slow, careful grace of an old companion who knows there’s no need to rush. He doesn’t bark much, he doesn’t need to. His presence is grounding, his company steady and soothing to those lucky enough to know him.During the devastating Kerrville floods, the chaos and displacement around the community brought Zeus’s quiet need for care and companionship to light. He was rescued and given a second chance, embraced by people who recognized the gentle soul within him. Now, he spends his days in peace, resting in sunlit spots and watching the world with calm acceptance, a living reminder of endurance, grace, and the healing power of kindness.I am eligible for a 7-day trial adoption through our Foster First program.
