My story

Hi, I’m Abby! I’ve had a few names in the past, but this one feels like it fits. I’m a curious, confident cat with a big personality and a love for play. My favorite toy is a wand toy — I love leaping through the air after it or grabbing it off the ground and giving it a good shake. It’s the best! I’ve spent some time in a foster home, and I’ve made a few things clear when it comes to my boundaries with humans. Here’s what I’ve shared so far:I will come to you — but I prefer it if you don’t come to me first. I like to have hiding spots at different heights so I can check things out from a safe distance before deciding to say hello. I’m pretty confident, and while I don’t usually run away when I’m uncomfortable, I may use my teeth as a warning. I’ve never broken the skin or latched on — just a gentle reminder that I have boundaries and teeth.I love to play! Whether it`s with my kittens, interactive toys, crinkle balls, bouncy balls, catnip mice, cardboard boxes, or even light reflections, I’m always ready for action. I’ve got a lot of energy and I use it!I use my litter box faithfully, and I always make sure it’s just the way I like it when I’m done.I really enjoy a good stretch and a scratch after a meal, a nap, or a play session. I appreciate a variety of scratching options, especially sisal rope and corrugated cardboard.I think I’m ready to be a full-time house cat.I know it might take us both a little time and patience to figure each other out, but I’m up for it — and I have so much love to give.
