My story

Current Location: Brooklyn Park, MD Meet Sweet Apollo! Apollo is a super friendly, polite boy! He is a complete lovebug who is affectionate, sweet, playful, snuggly, and laidback. He loves snuggling with people and he does well with everyone— dogs, cats, children, and strangers! He has a nice, balanced energy. He enjoys playtime, walks, and some stimulation but he settles well. He loves to sunbathe and relax outdoors! Training Apollo is mostly house broken and potty trained— and if he has an accident he uses his pee pad. He is leash trained, mostly crate trained, and he sleeps soundly through the night. Apollo responds well to correction, and is mostly food motivated, but he can get distracted easily. For basic commands, he knows “sit” and is working on “stay” and “leave it.” Companionship Apollo really loves companionship and does best when someone, or a dog, is with him. While he can be left alone for periods of time, he doesn’t love it. He will cry/howl for 20 minutes or so, and then he settles. He is a bit clingy and prefers to have a dog or human spending time with him. Ideal Home Apollo loves playing with other dogs, so another dog in the home would benefit him greatly! He loves being with his humans so someone who is home often/ makes time to hang with him would be best. Apollo is looking for his forever family!
