My story

Bacon Bob A17647440 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old -He’s shy and needs to warm up to new people-As soon as I gave him a couple pets that was all it took. He did some excited zoomies and barreled right up into my lap. Wiggly and happy and giving me kisses.-He likes pets and belly rubs-He chases toys but isn’t currently playing-He eats treats occasionally but does still working on “sit”-Good pup who just needs some confidence and life experience it seems-He’s a little timid walking the hallways and needed some reassurance-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
