My story

**Please Read Before Applying** We have a litter of 5 Golden Retriever puppies, born on May 11, 2025. In light of the recent heatwave and the unfortunate absence of a climate-controlled kennel, the breeder is surrendering his litters to us. He made the compassionate decision to surrender the puppies, ensuring they stay safe from the dangers of heat stroke. Now, in their foster home, they are reveling in the luxury of a cozy bed and air conditioning, enjoying every moment of their playful puppyhood. The puppies have been regularly dewormed and up to date on puppy vaccines. They have started heartworm and flea prevention. Additionally, they are microchipped. We have specific requirements for adoption:    1.  A fenced-in back yard - No invisible fences.   If your condo or HOA does not allow a fence , we may consider other options on a case-by-case basis.   2.  Someone who is home more during the day and has the time for a puppy    3. Children must be the age of 8 or older   4. We will consider a family with no dogs or up to one dog (no multiple dog households). A meet and greet may be required with your dog   5. You agree to use a puppy pen.  For more information on adopting, please visit our adoption info page on our website. Please note that the puppies will not be spayed or neutered before adoption. The adopter will need to sign a spay/neuter agreement and provide a deposit of $75. This deposit will be retained by us and will be refunded to the adopter upon providing proof of spay/neuter. Puppies will be up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped.  To apply, please complete an application on our website www.indianasaveadog.com. We kindly ask that you do not email us. If a puppy is listed on our website, it is still available.  Unlike a public shelter with a physical building, our puppies are placed in foster homes. When you place a deposit on a puppy, it is fully refundable if you attend your adoption appointment and decide not to go through with the adoption. A deposit helps us ensure that we have serious adopters. We will accept a $50 deposit to hold a puppy after your application has been approved. When you place a deposit, your puppy will be marked as pending. Adoptions will take place in Crown Point , July, 25, 26, & 27.   ##2463544##
