My story

Courtesy Post. Last May we received a request to help find a home for this handsome boy. After a few weeks, the finder fell in love and decided to give him a forever home. But now a family member is suffering from severe allergies so the cat is now in need of a new home . His story: "My friend observed someone abandoning their cat (in a carrier) at Kennedy Rec Center in DC. She approached this woman and learned what was going on and took possession of the animal. I took the cat since my friend has dogs and I only live one block from the park. Pepper is approximately 1-2 yrs old, has been neutered, vaccinated, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. He has a great personality; He hid under furniture for a couple days initially but now confidently searches me out and plays with me. He has never bit or scratched me; uses the litter box exclusively." Meet him in DC. Posted 7/17/25
