Lorelai (need foster to adopt)

My story

Meet Lorelai-she is looking for a foster to adopt for about 2 weeks until she can be spayed....Lorelai is one of the sweetest little dogs you will ever meet. She is very friendly and will spin in circles with excitement when you come in the room. She is a snuggle bug and loves to be close to her people.. maybe 2 to 4. Lorelai made the long trek from Texas with her seven newborn babies after being discarded by her owner. They had a soft landing in their foster home where Mom and puppies have thrived. Although most of her focus has been on mothering since she came, she is working on walking on a leash and housebreaking. She is ready to find a home and family of her own now so that the focus can be on her. She has done well with both the large and small dog in her foster home. PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us. The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped. Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment ($20 charge will be added to a credit card)
