My story

Meet Snow! Snow may have started his journey at the Kern County shelter, but thanks to the staff who advocated for him, we now get to see what a truly special boy he is. And wow—this boy is a gem! Personality & TemperamentSnow is a gentle soul with a heart full of love. He lights up around kids and has the sweetest way of greeting his people—by spinning in happy circles. He’s not much of a barker, making him a calm and peaceful companion. While he’s not the kind of dog who’ll crawl into your lap, he’ll be faithfully at your feet, always close by. Good With Others Gets along with other dogs with proper introductions Doesn’t mind cats in the household Absolutely adores children—currently living with a 6-month-old baby who bumps into him with a walker or tosses toys his way, and Snow doesn’t even flinch! Training & Habits House trained and crate trained With the right handler and some guidance, he’s smart enough to learn basic commands Not treat-motivated, but eager to please in other ways Can get a little antsy in the car, but settles once the ride gets going QuirksSnow isn’t a fan of household cleaning gadgets (vacuums and such are a bit scary in his eyes), but who can blame him? Why Snow is SpecialSnow’s gentle nature and patience make him a truly remarkable companion. His calm energy, especially around children, shows just how big his heart is.
