My story

Hello, my name is Tulip. I am a shy independent little girl. While I am shy and take time to open up, food and treats are the way to win me over. Throw a spring and watch me run. After I have time to open up, I will cuddle with you, climb towers, and gently take treats out of your hand. I just need someone who understands I need time and space to adjust to my new surroundings.. I’m such a good girl who enjoys playing with her siblings and foster friends. I am ready for my new forever family and looking forward to starting a new adventure. Are you interested in adopting Tulip or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center or Timber Drive next to Home Depot).
