My story

Meet Peanut 🐾💛Peanut is a 3-year-old Shiba Inu mix who was owner released through no fault of his own. According to his previous family, Peanut does well with dogs, cats, kids, and is crate trained. We aren’t sure if he’s house trained just yet, but with his smart and eager-to-please personality, it shouldn’t take long to learn.Peanut is a total lovebug who wants to play all the time! He would thrive in a home with a big backyard and maybe even a furry sibling to run and play with. This sweet boy is as friendly as they come and would make a wonderful addition to just about any family.Peanut is HEART WORM NEGATIVE, UP TO DATE on vaccinations, neutered, and weighs 35 pounds. He’s ready to meet his forever family — could that be you? ❤️🐶Peanut's Adoption fee is $115.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
