My story

Apple is a 1.5 year old female Lab mix, who is ready to be your loyal companion and new best friend! This friendly girl loves being with people and is always so happy when she is taken out for a walk. After an initial bit of energy out of her cage, she quickly settles in and walks nicely on a leash. Her cheerful, easygoing nature is sure to bring joy to your days. This sweet girl is fine just going with the flow … so whether it’s lounging around together, or heading out for an adventure with you, Apple is happy to be a part of whatever you’re doing. She recently had a doggie play session with another dog (Kendall), and the two enjoyed roaming the park and resting quietly in the shade together. In a similar way, Apple mainly likes to spend her time with people just hanging out, basking in peaceful companionship with her favorite humans. She has a way of enjoying the simple things in life, and making everything better with her sweet easy-going nature. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
