My story

Meet Primrose!This stunning gal is a 5 month old Merle Great Dane (full blooded or a mix is unknown since she was found as a stray). With those gorgeous markings and those big puppy paws, she’s sure to turn heads—and steal hearts.Primrose is currently in a foster home, where she’s learning the basics of home life and growing fast (very fast!). Given her age and size, we expect her to be very large when fully grown.Before applying, we strongly encourage interested adopters to research the Great Dane breed and carefully consider what it means to raise a giant breed dog. That means ample space, plenty of food, and potentially higher vet bills as she grows. Primrose will need a home that can commit to her size and her sweet, goofy personality. Someone with Dane experience is preferred. She does show some guarding tendencies, so a home without other pets and children is needed. If you’re ready for the joys and challenges of raising a gentle giant, Primrose might just be your perfect match!Her adoption fee is $225 and this includes her spay, vaccines, dewormer, flea and tick and heartworm prevention, and a microchip that we register for you.
