Katie

My story

Katie needs a gentle and patient adopter. She is incredibly sweet but timid. It's not known how many homes Katie has had. A few years ago an elderly woman befriended Katie after the woman found her as a stray. Katie lived in the home with two other kitties the lady had adopted but earlier this year the woman passed away. It's been a hard adjustment for Katie. It took some time before her foster mom could pet her. Katie loves to be pet. She will arch her back way up as she's stroked. She is not an alpha like many female cats. She keeps her room tidy. Very good litter box manners, keeps her food in the bowl, doesn't splash her water. Katie is such a truly good cat. Even when she would hiss when afraid she never lashed out. The only bite she has given has been little nibbles when she asks for more affection. She is a big talker. Katie has such sweet meows and gentle biscuits. Katie loves looking out the window and having safe places to hide. She needs someone that will help build up her confidence. She's had lots of changes in her life and there may have been a time where she met a human that wasn't very nice to her. Very often when she gets pet the first time she flinches. Sweet demure Katie is looing for a quiet home, with a sunny window, and lots of back scratches.
