My story

AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT! G'day mate! The names Blouie and I'm a neutered, 11-month-old, Australian Cattle Dog that currently weighs about 30lbs. I'm a growing boy that will reach around 40lbs as an adult. I can be affectionate and I enjoy a good game of keepy uppy every now and then, but I'm pretty much everything you would expect from a young cattle dog; high energy, intelligent, and eager to work! I'm hoping for a family that understands herding breeds like me and is prepared to continue my training and give me tons of physical and mental exercise. I get along with two-legged and four-legged friends, so please bring the entire family, including any resident dogs, in to meet me before I officially join the family. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor.
