My story

Hi, I’m Myla! A sweet, Tortie with a heart as warm as my beautiful coat. I recently found myself at CACC through no fault of my own—my family loved me, but housing changes meant they couldn’t keep me. It’s been a big adjustment, but I’m doing my best and staying hopeful that my forever home is just around the corner. I’m a gentle soul who might be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, my loving, playful side shines through. I love being petted (especially head scratches!), and if you sit with me during mealtime, I’ll happily munch away—yep, I’m a social eater! I mostly enjoy dry food right now, but the kind volunteers are trying to tempt me with wet food treats. I’m thinking about giving it a try… If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who just needs a little time and love to fully blossom, I’d love to meet you. I may have had a rough patch, but I’ve got so much love to give—and I can’t wait to share it with my new best friend. Let’s write our next chapter together. Come meet me—you might just fall in love.
