My story

Introducing Sarabi! She was brought to the shelter along with her besties, Milo and Tychalla on 7/11 because her former pet parent could no longer take care of her after having a baby. Tychalla has been adopted. Sarabi is only 9 months old and weighs a mere 25lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet, cute, and obedient and a bit timid. That is understandable because they have been placed in a loud, scary place. Sarabi looks to Milo for comfort. He is her rock. Volunteers are working with them to help them feel safe and loved so they can slowly come out of their shells. She is so quiet in her kennel you would never know she was there. She is a smart young lady as she knows to sit when asked. She needs some help learning the leash and with some patience and guidance in training, she will have that mastered in no time at all! Please take some time and visit with her in Run 26; her ID is 11831. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. It is exciting and magical to have a puppy but they are a lot of work. Please make sure you have the space, time, patience and lifestyle to ensure Sarabi has the best upbringing possible. Sarabi is current on vaccines, spayed and tested negative for heartworms; she will be microchipped upon adoption. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Sarabi is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
