My story

Meet Cooper! Cooper is a 6-year-old sweetheart who’s been through more than he understands. After spending his life in a loving home, he was suddenly surrendered to the shelter, and his heart is still catching up. He misses the comfort of familiar routines, the warmth of a family, and the quiet moments of just being loved. Despite his heartbreak, Cooper remains full of love. He finds joy in his toys, comfort in cuddles, and still believes that the right person is out there for him. He’s potty trained, knows his basic commands, and does his best to be a good boy—especially when someone takes the time to guide him. Cooper has lived peacefully with cats, kids, and other dogs, though he’d like to meet any potential dog siblings first—he likes to make sure everyone gets along. He also has big feelings; which he loves to talk about. Whether he’s excited, unsure, or just wants your attention, he’ll always find a way to share what’s on his mind.
