Adoption fee: $700 STELLA GOT HER GROOVE BACK 2 year old, 12 lb Stella may be compact, but don’t let her size fool you— this chunky little JRT mix is bursting with personality, pep, and plenty of love to give. Rescued from the shelter life and now living her best foster life, Stella is a playful, cuddly girl who’s ready to star in her next act: forever home edition. Stella starts her mornings like the queen she is— with a brisk walk and a playful bounce, always ready to chase a toy or toss her own ball around just for the joy of it. She's got that energetic JRT spark, but once the zoomies are out of her system, she’s all about snuggles and couch time. At night, she loves curling up next to you, barely moving a muscle until the sun comes up. Sleepover partner approved. True to her name, Stella has definitely gotten her groove back. She's smart, responsive to verbal cues, and thrives on routine. Stella gets along with other dogs out and about (though she can find larger ones intimidating) but would prefer to be the only dog in the home and soak up all of your attention and affection. She’s hilarious (yes, she’s climbed onto the dining table and then gotten stuck there—twice), loyal (ask her about her dedication to licking her foster mom’s skinned knee), and incredibly affectionate with her people. She even gently “cleans” the youngest kid in the house like a tiny, doggy nanny. Ideal home: Active and ready to offer exercise and adventure Someone who appreciates a little sass and a lot of heart Stella’s story is one of resilience, love, and second chances. Could you be the next chapter in her happy-ever-after? August 9, 2025, 10:09 am
