My story

Aldo is almost 70 lbs. (and still growing) of puppy love! This handsome little dude is hoping to grow with someone who is willing to put in the time and effort to guide him along the path to becoming a happy, well-mannered adult dog. He`s got a pretty good start so far! He seems to enjoy playtime when toys are involved and doesn`t make a fuss when asked for the toys back. Aldo loves to be loved, and he`ll let you know just how much lovin` he wants by curling up against your legs to demand more pets! During chow time, a quiet and calm environment seems to be the best for Aldo to ensure he eats every last kibble. Aldo is still working on his socialization, so we`d like to see him go to a home that`s ready to continue exposing him to new things at a slow and steady pace. If you`ve got your own dog at home, we highly recommend you bring your dog in for a meet and greet to ensure they are a good fit for each other. We have a feeling he`s going to blossom into such a sweet boy, so if he sounds like the dog of your dreams, then come on in and meet him today! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
