My story

Meet Pepa! Pepa came to CCHS with her 8 siblings earlier this May from a local farm. This adorable Heeler mix is about 8 weeks old and weighs 6.0lbs currently. Pepa has a gentle demeanor and sweet personality! She is a total lovebug when it comes time to snuggle and relax; curling up in your side like she was meant to be there all along! While we can't say for certain what her exact breed makeup is, we can tell you she is 100% a ray of sunshine! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going.
