My story

Meet Mary. Mary is one of the dogs that we pulled from a horrific house fire situation in Texas. Each one of these little dogs has their own distinct personality and lovable qualities and they are all looking for new homes. They are low maintenance in size and adorable in appearance. She is the second dog we have pulled from the house fire where she got severely burned. She is currently in foster care and getting special treatment. She was on pain meds, and antibiotics and now is being treated with a burn salve. She's doing wonderful. She gets along with the cats and dogs at her foster home. She likes to snuggle up to you but is a little shy when you go to pet her. Mary has a sweet temperament. She was shut down and was a very scared little Chihuahua but now she's happy and she's doing well. Mary is approximately 5 years old, weighs 9 pounds and is a short haired Chihuahua mix. She will use a pee pad but needs some encouragement to go to the bathroom outside. She also loves to nap outside in the sun.
