My story

This beautiful girl is Elodie! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 7/9, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Her family must have discovered she was at the shelter and decided to surrender her because it is noted that she is good with children. The volunteers describe Elodie as friendly though initially a little shy. She sits nicely when asked. Elodie has some skin issues, but with good nutrition and medicated baths she should be looking and feeling her best in no time at all! If Elodie sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for please come meet her! Elodie is approximately 3 years old and weighs 47 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Elodie is waiting patiently in run 851; her ID # is 11786. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
