My story

Meet Shadow, a one and a half year old Blue Heeler mix weighing 30 pounds.Shadow is a gentle soul with a quiet spirit. He can be shy at first and will need a patient adopter who’s willing to go slow and help build his confidence. Once he feels safe, he shows his sweet side with soft eyes and gentle kisses. Shadow gets along well with both big and small dogs, and he’s even calmly ignored the feral cats he’s encountered. He’s a wonderful medium size and would thrive in a calm home where he can blossom with time, love, and a little socialization. If you have a soft spot for the timid types, Shadow just might steal your heart.This pet is available for adoption on 7/20/2025 at 10:58 AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
