My story

Hi. I'm Lady Slipper and I'm going to be your favorite cuddle buddy once we get to know each other. I love snuggling, snuggling is my favorite! If there were an award for Best Snuggler, I’d win it paws down. My other favorite activities include cuddling, napping, and occasionally getting the zoomies. My Fosters say I’m a pretty low-energy for a kitten but that doesn't mean I don't still love to play! My favorite game is to do a BIG JUMP when I see you coming around the corner! I also love to chase my own tail and jump and pounce with my sisters. My favorite toys are soft ones that I can carry around in my mouth. When I get one, I will walk around and meow until you call for me, I just want you to see what a good girl and hunter I am! My fosters often wake up in the morning to find plush mice and fuzzy poms in the bed that I brought in throughout the night. I just want to provide for the people I love! I love playing with my sisters, but for the most part I'm a very people centric cat. I always want to be around my humans. If I lose you in the house, I'll cry to try and find out where you've gone! I'll need you to call for me back and when you do I will come running and jump into your arms with HUGE purrs and will try to burrow myself into your neck. I just want to be as close to you as I can! My favorite time to cuddle is at bedtime. I love burrowing under the blankets and falling asleep in your arms, purring loudly the whole time. I'm the shyest and most reserved of my sisters. I would be happiest in a calm, patient home with someone who understands that trust and love take time to blossom but once it does I will be the most loving and loyal kitty you will ever have. I do need a kitty friend, but would like a sibling more at my pace in life and would probably do fine in a home with an adult cat even though I will need some time to warm up. My fosters say that in all the kittens they've fostered (and there's been a lot) that I'm probably the biggest lover and cuddler of them all. I think they would even keep me for themselves if their older cats weren't so grumpy and unhappy with the idea of having another sister! Which is good news for you! Because I'm going to grow up to be a truly amazing and special cat for some lucky person/ family. We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Lady Slipper will need to be adopted with one of their siblings (Trout Lilly and Hill Thistle). The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.
