**SPIRIT CAT**  Meet Hank – The Cat’s Cat Hank is a handsome 4-year-old orange and white gentleman with a soft spot for fellow felines — but not so much for people. He was rescued from a cat colony after suffering a paw injury, which he’s since recovered from beautifully. While he may never be a lap cat (or even a “please pet me” cat), he loves the company of other cats and finds great comfort in their presence. Hank also LOVES squeeze btreats, so this will be one way to gain his heart :) If you have a calm home and friendly resident cats who’d enjoy a quiet, low-maintenance buddy to nap with, Hank might be your guy. He’s not interested in human affection, and that’s okay — he’s looking for someone who respects his space and values the companionship he offers to other cats. Hank is ready for a home where he can be himself — no expectations, just understanding. Ideal Home: Cat-savvy adopter MUST have another cat Indoor Only No expectations :) No young children and...no expectations (although we hope one day, Hank will learn to love to be pet) Spirit cats are not for everyone - they are very shy with people. They will live in your home, but are rarely seen. They are cats that live with you and who may sometimes grant you the opportunity to touch them...or, they may not.  Spirit cats are great with other cats. They are also a great choice for people with a quiet household, who want to make a difference for an individual cat.   Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption). All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.
