Nika

My story

Hello to my future family! I’m Nika (or crazy girl)! I’m full of energy, love, and independence…but I also love my cuddles and being held like a baby! I know what I want, am brave and loud, and can express how I’m feeling at all hours. I am adventurous and would do well with someone who can nurture my natural instincts, like being a protector. I walk behind my humans, and I’m always on the lookout. While I am a barker, my foster humans are working with me on that, but what can I say, I’m just a dog and very talkative!  I am ready to go all the time, walking, hiking, running, you name it, I’m your girl... I especially love brain games and puzzles to help keep my mind sharp and activate my big sniffer! They also keep me out of trouble. Otherwise, your shoes, chair legs, bed frame, carpet (everything) are excellent other options. I have two foster brothers and a foster mom who works from home. I enjoy learning from them and having company! I’m great in my crate, a little sad at first, and then I relax soon after. I am almost potty trained, but with my advanced smarts, I have mastered other things like finding toys that are loud and have been hidden, off-leash training and staying right next to my human (also great on leash…duh), discovering my place in my pact, and using my strength to get myself up on the couch and bed! I’m really excited to meet you and know that if you can keep me stimulated and pooped out, I’m the right girl for you!  ##2465425##
