My story

Hi, I’m Squeaky Jack – a big, lovable guy with a story to tell. I originally came from Chicago Animal Care & Control, where I was rescued after my first owner could no longer keep me. I was adopted and spent four happy years with my person, but when she had to move into assisted living, she couldn’t take me with her. She’s heartbroken, but I’m ready for a new forever home. I’m a LARGE boy (with a little extra fluff to prove it!) and would benefit from losing a bit of weight. I do best on a single-protein diet, and my slightly wall-eyed gaze only adds to my unique charm. I enjoy a good brushing and get along wonderfully with other pets. Could I be your new best friend?
