My story

LOCATION: Bunnlevel, NCDOB: 12/26/2018Annie is a beautiful merle Great Dane. She’s an easygoing, affectionate girl who loves being part of family life. Annie is wonderful with kids and has been especially sweet and protective with little ones as young as four. She gets along well with other dogs, both in her foster home and at the dog park, and she has even done well being boarded. Cats, however, are a different story—she just can’t resist chasing them, so a feline-free home will be the best fit for her.Annie has great house manners. She is housebroken, leash trained, and knows her basic obedience. She rides well in the car, hasn’t needed a crate in quite some time, and behaves beautifully when left loose in the home. She does bark when she sees activity outside, but she quiets down once she knows her people have things under control.When Annie meets new people or dogs, she’s calm and polite, though she may jump up in her excitement to greet you—but she’ll listen if you remind her not to. She’s a laid-back girl who enjoys going for walks, playing tug or fetch, and then curling up on the bed with you.
