My story

Meet Bon Bon 🐾 Bon Bon is a resilient little sweetheart with a story as unique as her name. She came into foster care with a painful degloved mouth injury and a big wall of fear — hissing at every hand that came near. But with patience, time, and lots of love, Bon Bon began to heal both physically and emotionally. Now, she’s a soft, independent kitten who enjoys the simple pleasures: a good zoom around the room, grooming her feline foster siblings, or curling up nearby for quiet companionship. She’s not one for being picked up or held, but she’ll happily lean into gentle pets and even give the occasional hand a loving lick or soft nibble. Bon Bon needs a bit of time to adjust to new people and environments. Hissing is her go-to defense at first, but give her a few days and she’ll show you just how sweet and playful she can be. She was unsure about her canine foster siblings at first, but now she coexists peacefully with them. She would thrive in a patient home where she can continue to build trust at her own pace. Bon Bon enjoys the company of other cats and would love a feline playmate to wrestle and run around with.
