I'm a new mom to four puppies, and taking care of them has been my focus since arriving in my new foster home. But as my puppies get older I am excited to start spending more time with people (I love people) and learning fun tricks and other stuff about being a house dog. Email my friend Joshua at JoshuaHTRescue@gmail.com ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 45 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Lolita has been friendly with her foster family’s dogs and the dogs she has met when out walking. KNOWN WITH CATS: Unknown, but we can get this information if needed. KNOWN WITH KIDS: She has not been in a situation where children have approached to pet her. She has, however, seen many children when out playing when she is walking with her foster family. She has not reacted or appeared concerned or afraid. KNOWN COMMANDS: Excited to start learning after she finishes weaning her puppies KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Lolita hasn’t been crated in her foster home. She spends a lot of her time in a large pen taking care of her puppies with no issues. She is not totally housebroken and has had a few accidents, but is learning quickly. KNOWN LIKES: This sweet and gentle lady has been a loving and attentive mother to her pups. Right now she spends most of her time with them, but she loves being with her foster family too. She especially enjoys having her ears rubbed and will place her head in your lap as a request to do this. She will politely lie down at your feet if that is what you want, but she is also happy to snuggle up next to you on the couch if will let her. Lolita does well riding in a car and walking on a leash. She prefers leisurely strolls through her foster’s quiet suburban neighborhood She rarely pulls and when she does it is because she sees some wildlife or another dog that she wants to meet. Lolita is a bit reserved when meeting new people, particularly men. She will hang back a bit to make sure you are okay before approaching. But, she quickly warms up if you share a special treat with her. Lolita has a calm and laid back presence. She is very gentle and will be a wonderful dog for the family or person who adopts her.
