My story

Santiago is a shy, hesitant young pup, looking for a new family to help him grow into the confident, self-assured young dog that we know he can be. Santiago hasn`t had much interaction with new people or other dogs, so he needs to take it slow. He would prefer a home with calm dogs and people, who will be able to respect his boundaries and give him space while he becomes comfortable in a new environment. Doggy playdates and training classes are a great way to help him grow and build bonds with his people and doggy friends. If you`re an experienced dog owner with a quiet, patient home, Santiago may be the one for you, so come on in and pay him a visit today!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
