My story

Meet Bernie 💙 Bernie is a sweet and loving pup with a gentle soul and a heart full of affection. He’s currently heartworm positive and has a lifelong medical condition that prevents him from producing tears, so he’ll need daily eye medication to keep him comfortable. But don’t worry — Bernie takes it all in stride, and his easygoing nature makes caring for him a breeze. What Bernie lacks in tear production, he more than makes up for in love. He’s incredibly affectionate, loyal, and always ready to be by your side. Bernie is looking for a compassionate family who can give him the care he needs and the endless love he so freely gives in return. If you have room in your heart for a dog who just wants to be loved — and will love you right back — Bernie is waiting for you.
