Jethro Bo

My story

Hi, I’m Jethro Bo! My rescuer used to just call me “Bo,” but when she realized my good looks made me look smarter than I actually am… well, she started calling me Jethro Bo (If you’ve seen The Beverly Hillbillies, you’ll get the joke!). I’m a handsome guy with a goofy, lovable personality. I’m a mixed terrier with some Lab or Weimaraner in me—my webbed feet are a pretty good hint! I was rescued in March 2025 from a remote gravel road outside Joiner, AR, after being dumped with three young females (they’ve all found homes in Pennsylvania—lucky girls!). My foster decided to keep me a little longer to help me grow into my best self. Thanks to her love and care, my skin is all healed, I’ve gained some healthy weight, and I’m learning basic commands and how to be a great companion. I’m now neutered, fully vaccinated, and on monthly heartworm prevention. My Personality I’m friendly with other dogs, but I do have a thing for chasing the neighbor’s cat—oops! I’m a big goofball with a heart of gold. I’d thrive in a quiet, country home where I can go on long walks or just chill in the grass while you garden or do yard work. Right now, I live in a cozy 10x12 tiny house with AC and a doggie door that leads to a big backyard. I’m still getting used to the main house—the ceiling fans and TV sounds are a little overwhelming, but I’m learning every day. I am working on being crate trained, but being in a crate terrifies me!
