Phoebe is a sweet, gentle, and smart girl who is still looking for her forever home. She is quiet and observant but also ready to get in on the fun. She enjoys running around the backyard with her siblings, playing with toys, and chewing on bones on the couch. She is still a puppy but seems more mature at times because she has a great balance of playtime and relaxation. Her ideal home would have a canine friend, and she would do best with teenagers if there are any kids in the home. Phoebe is kennel trained and potty trained, rides well in the car, and knows some basic obedience such as “sit” and “down”. She is a wonderful little dog with the puppy basics already mastered, giving you the puppy without the most tiring puppy stage. Phoebe is a 5 month old mix of 21 breeds, with her top breeds being Alaskan Malamute, American Pit Bull Terrier, and Siberian Husky. She currently weighs 27.4lbs with her expected adult size range being medium to large. If you are interested in adopting her, please submit an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Due to her breed makeup, we will not be placing her in an apartment. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2352026##
