My story

Hello, world! My name is Evan, and if you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing Husky who loves adventures and snuggles, you’ve found me! I’m a tall boy (my foster mom calls me a “gentle giant”), but don’t worry—I’m not a jumper. I might peek at what’s on the counter because I’m curious, but I’m polite and haven’t been caught stealing snacks. When my humans leave the room, I usually just lay outside the door and wait for them to come back. Here’s what I want you to know about me: I’m housebroken and crate-trained—give me a chew bone, and I’ll settle right in. Fireworks and thunderstorms? No big deal. I’m a calm guy. I love walks and runs, and I’m great on leash! I might look at deer or squirrels, but I’m learning “Leave It” and I listen well. I’m a social pup. I get along with other dogs and kids and would love a family with playmates—or I can be your one-and-only if you keep me active and stocked with toys. What am I working on? Well, I think helping in the kitchen should be a full-time job, so I like to hang out when food is being made. I’m also learning that couches aren’t for dogs (but they look so comfy!). If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready for hikes, playtime, and lots of love, I’m your guy. I’m ready to start my forever adventure with you!
