My story

Hi, my name is Ishmael I am from Alabama. Ishmael is a very shy boy who needs lots of patience before he begins to feel safe. He may hide at first, but seeing him slowly open up and show off his true personality is definitely worth the wait! Ishmael is a curious kitty who would do well with a slow introduction to other cats. He sings high pitched songs to our resident cat, and shows a lot of interest in her! I think he would love to live with another cat. He was too afraid to be around the humans of the house much at first, but he is slowly realizing he loves to be pet and scratched, to play with wand toys, and to get treats for coming out of his shell! He loves to gently nibble on fingers, not in an aggressive or bitey way, just as a silly way he likes to say hello. Ishmael would be a lovely addition to any home. He is great at using the litter box, is very quiet, and gentle. In a quiet home with adequate time to decompress, he will show off his silly, sweet, and curious personality!
