She's full of puppy energy, loves playing with her doggy and kitty foster siblings, and thrives in a home where she's got a confident canine companion to romp around with.🧠 Smart & Ready to Learn:Nellie is potty trained (she'll even let you know when she needs to go out!), crate trained, leash trained, and doing great with both dogs and cats. She's friendly and affectionate&#194&#151loves walks, belly rubs, couch cuddles, and being wherever her people are. She's currently enjoying two daily walks and plenty of backyard time.🏡 The Ideal Home:Nellie would do best in a home: &#194&#149 With another playful, well-balanced dog &#194&#149 That understands she's still learning some manners and would benefit from basic training &#194&#149 That's patient and experienced enough to help her continue to build confidence and boundariesShe hasn't been exposed to children, and while she likes cats, she may chase if they run (she thinks it's a game!).📝 A Few Quirks: &#194&#149 She can be a bit overstimulated at times and tries to play 'boss,' so structure and consistency will help her thrive. &#194&#149 She may show some mild food guarding at first, so feeding separately is recommended. &#194&#149 She may alert at night to animals outside the house&#194&#151her foster crates her at night to help her settle.💇‍♀️ Grooming Needs:As a Poodle mix, Nellie will need regular grooming and coat maintenance to prevent matting every 4-5 weeks, neglecting this is very painful for dog with this coat.
