My story

We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 8/8/25 to NorCal, OR, WA, ID, and CO. We are combining our Trip up north with our trip cross country this time, so surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add our girls to our trip for the right home/homes 💕 Meet our beautiful sisters Reina, and Rain. They are purebred Yorkies. They turn 1 year of age on 9/28/25. Reina weighs 6.52 lbs, and Rain weighs 7.31lbs. Both girls are full grown, and at a very healthy weight. They are spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and had wonderful exams with our vet who cleared them to find a home all their own 💕 They are both house trained, and have no problem going outside to use the restroom when asked to throughout the day. They thrive off having a good schedule, so we let them outside every 4 hours or so, which means they don't have to ask to be let out as they are very patient in between that time frame. They both are crate trained, and currently sleep in a crate at night. They know and understand their crate very well and have no problem going into their crate for bedtime. They sleep all night very peacefully and are always very happy to see you in the morning so they can come out and enjoy their day with you! They are doing very well at leash training, and have such a big love for being anywhere their humans are that they are always ready for adventures outside of their home so walks have become something they look forward to knowing they get to hang with their fave person doing fun things outdoors 😊 They are wonderful with dogs, cats, and birds alike!! They grew up in a home full of love, and life so their love for all has been deeply rooted since puppies. They are beautifully natured, LOVE to play, and will open their hearts to anyone; and any animal in need of their love. They are just absolutely incredible in every way and while they are close to one another we are confident that they would do well independently as well as long as they had someone to love them and play with them filling their hearts as I know they will fill their new families ❤️❤️ They love road trips of any length especially if they get to sleep in your lap but equally enjoy sleeping in their own bed, especially if they have window view height! A booster seat, with a built in comfy bed is what we recommend for them or a middle console doggy seat so they can be closer to you, as that's what makes them happiest ❤️ They are dolls with our groomer, and love being glammed up so they can be told how beautiful they are coming home. They expect treats for doing so good too and you don't want to disappoint them so always make sure they have something waiting for them after a long and exhausting spa day to look beautiful for you 😁 They are very easy going, they listen well, and always come when called. They have been very easy to train and work with in all areas and have learned being rewarded for good behavior is worth listening for 😂 They are not barkers, but will alert you of noises that are unfamiliar to them, which has increasingly gotten less as they have become very adapted to all type of sounds and noises and really aren't phased by too much anymore! Their prior owner was a newly single mom, and had a lot on her plate. As much as she loved her girls she knew keeping them wasn't fair to them and wanted them to have great lives despite the many changes in hers. She asked us to please take them in and find the joy they needed so they never lost the light that fueled their incredible souls so here we are 💓 Their adoption fees are on our website at the bottom of their adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/rain-and-reinaRain and Reina 💕 It covers their spays. Both girls were spayed in their previous home but we took care of the costs which was greater than our vet's costs but it was a request their owners made so they could heal with her prior to coming with us which we happily obliged to. It also covers their vaccines, microchip/registration, fecal test we had sent out to the lab, their deworming based on those results, along with their exam with our vet (which went perfect!) It also covers the months of care, grooming costs; and training we have personally done with them.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Reina and Rain, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
