My story

Animal Profile: Dokey is a sweet 4-year-old pup whose owner is rehoming her due to personal health issues. Dokey has lived with other dogs and does well with cats. She joined us on 7/13. New foster needed 8/29 Foster Update: Dokey is settling in nicely! She is good with the resident cat in her foster home and appears to be mostly potty trained. She's friendly with everyone and mostly ignores dogs but can bark at the most exciting things like running kiddos or the occasional dog. She loves to chase birds and can be active for walks, but is content to chill out after an activity. Dokey is still practicing her crate manners and getting used to being left alone, but she is relatively quiet. She recently attended an adoption event and loved sitting in everyone's lap and soaking up the attention. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was taken in by our rescue partner in Oklahoma and is being transported via Furry Freight, arriving to Seattle 7/13/25.
