My story

Hi there, I'm Loppen. I'm one of those cats who carries a lot of love in my heart - maybe too much sometimes. All I really want is to be close to someone who understands that my world feels safest when it's quiet and gentle. When things get busy or loud, I tend to retreat because it all feels like too much for my tender spirit.What I'm hoping for is a calm home where someone has the patience to let me come to them slowly. Someone that will cradle me in loving arms while giving me gentle pets - that's my happy place. I promise that once I feel safe, I'll show you just how much sweetness this little heart of mine can hold. Here's what you need to know about me:I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.If there are kids in my home, I need them to be older than 6. I also need to meet them before being adopted. I'd do best being with even older kids - younger ones are just too rowdy for me. An adoption counselor can tell you more.I need a slow introduction to cats.
