My story

Meet Misha, an 8-year-old Husky/Malamute mix with a heart as big as her beautiful howl! This affectionate girl absolutely *lives* to be near her people—her favorite spot in the world is right at your feet. Whether you're relaxing, working, or just hanging out, Misha wants to be by your side, soaking up love and belly rubs. Misha may be a senior by age, but don’t let that fool you—she’s in great health and still has plenty of playful energy. She enjoys running around the yard, going for walks, and then settling in for snuggle time with her humans. She’s also a big fan of car rides and will happily join you on any adventure just to be close. She’s fully potty trained, dog-friendly, and wonderful with older kids, making her a great addition to many kinds of homes. Smart, well-mannered, and eager to please, Misha knows basic commands and has the sweetest personality. And yes—she has that classic husky howl that will melt your heart (and maybe make you laugh a little too). Misha is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, and she’s looking for a family to spoil her like the princess she is. If you’re searching for a loyal best friend who will adore you endlessly, Misha is your girl. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention.
