Meet Zig – the hitchhiker with a plan!Born in an area overrun with strays, this tiny guy figured out early on that street life wasn’t for him. He knew he was destined for something better—so he took matters into his own paws. One night, little Zig climbed into the undercarriage of a Toyota and held on tight for a 42-mile ride to a new beginning.Unbeknownst to the kind driver, Zig had hitched his way into a second chance. He stayed hidden until the next evening, when he finally revealed himself with a few well-timed meows. Miraculously unharmed—though covered in motor oil—he allowed his rescuer (and accidental chauffeur) to give him a much-needed bath, then happily devoured some food and curled up on a soft blanket for the night.Don’t let his “old man face” fool you—Zig is full of energy, curiosity, and affection.
