Apollo! Friendly Boy!

My story

Meet our super friendly and handsome boy named Apollo! Apollo is about 2 years old and he was surrendered to our shelter after his family had to move and couldn't take him with them. He is a Yorkie mix, possibly with Dachshund as he has a long body and shorter legs. Apollo is a sweet little dog who enjoys attention. He is a good eater and he is food motivated. Apollo is fine being picked up and he has started to show interest in squeaky toys. He will make a family very happy! Apollo is good with other dogs and cats. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
