My story

This adorable pup is Briney! He arrived at the shelter on 7/13. Unfortunately, this is not Briney's first rodeo at the shelter; he has been failed by people before. He originally ended up at the shelter back in April as a lost dog and was adopted shortly after. He was returned in July, but the people who turned him in aren't registered on his microchip. While we're not entirely sure of Briney's story, we do know that he deserves better. This boy is still a puppy and needs some consistency in his life. The volunteers describe Briney as incredibly cute, curious, and friendly. He has loads of energy so if you're looking for an adventure buddy to hit the trails with he is your guy! Briney does know how to sit nicely and take treats gently. Puppies are super cute, but also a lot of work. Please ensure you have the time, patience, and energy to commit to Briney before adopting. Briney is 9 months old and weighs 33 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Briney is waiting patiently in run 16; his ID # is 9359. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
