My foster writes: Denver is taking life one step at a time. When she arrived in her foster home, she was so scared and sad that she hid behind a box for three days, doing her best to ignore anyone who approached her. But on day four, she realised that she had a whole room to explore... new soft blankets to lie on and boxes to try fitting in to... exciting new treats to eat... and best of all, lots of space to chase her spring toy around! Two weeks later, she's added several new rooms to her domain and has picked out a cosy spot to relax in when she's not dancing with her spring or finding new spots to lounge in. She quietly waits near her foster parents to remind them when it's feeding time. She's learning about the joys of playing WITH humans so she doesn't have to throw her toys around by herself. She is shy but food-motivated, very good at using her litter box (fastidiously covers everything!) and is coming out of her shell quickly. Though she started off lethargic and sad, it's now becoming clear that she'll be a goofy young cat and a great companion for a patient adopter who can give her time and space to blossom!
