You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. These adorable kittens (and more!) will be making their way to DPR from the shelters this weekend. We will post them individually once they arrive and we get to know their personalities. But from what we hear, this group is full of adorable, affectionate, friendly kittens who are excited to find a home of their very own! These kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, are on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a 'Cat Adoption Application' at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms Can’t adopt? Consider donating! We are in need of cat food, litter, and enrichment items for the kitties in our care! If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. * DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 22, 2025, 3:02 pm
