There is an adorable video of me on social media! Click here to experience the cuteness! My foster writes: Cocoa is an exceptionally good, happy, and loving dog. Great for first-time pet parents or someone who needs a healthy, good-looking, well-behaved, and quiet dog who's still fun. He bonds quickly and communicates his need to go for a walk so well that he hasn't had an accident. He's happy and friendly everywhere: home, office, park, pubs, and restaurants. Enjoys playing with adults, children, and dogs and cats of all sizes. He's very flexible with his schedule and does an excellent job of controlling his bladder and hunger. Waits patiently and loves on you while you make and have your morning coffee or work.Meet Mayflower, the sweetest little explorer with a tail that spins like a propeller and a heart full of love. He was briefly adopted but came back through no fault of his own-and now he's ready to set sail again, this time for good.Come meet this belly-rub-loving boy at Queens ACC and help him drop anchor in his forever home.My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Mayflower is more than just a dog. He is the kind of soul who reminds us of what gentleness, patience, and unconditional love truly look like. Towering in size, but tender in the heart, Mayflower moves through the world with a quiet grace that draws people in. He is a gentle companion who asks for little, but gives so much. Whether he's walking nicely on a leash, riding peacefully in the car, or resting at your feet after a belly rub, he exudes a calm presence that brings comfort and joy to everyone around him. He loves children, greets strangers with quiet affection, and remains beautifully non-reactive to other animals, making him an ideal addition to almost any home. He seems to be house-trained, well-mannered and how to live harmoniously with the rhythm of a family. But what makes Mayflower extra special beyond all his amazing qualities is the way he *looks at you*, like you're his whole world. Being near him feels like a warm hug for your heart. He doesn't just want to be your pet, he wants to be your best friend and your gentle anchor in a busy world. Adopting him wouldn't just change his life, but it would change yours too! Anyone would be so lucky to call him family.š¶šMy Ideal HomeMayflower would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can build trust and settle in at his own pace. He's looking for adopters who'll support his journey with structure, gentle guidance, and lots of affection. Bonus points if you love car rides-he does too!
