My story

Say hello to Inky! Like a pen full of fresh ink, Inky is ready to begin a brand-new story—this time, one where you help write the happy ending. Inky came to our shelter in May after being surrendered by his owner. While we don’t know much about his past, we do know this: he’s handled the transition with grace. At five years old, Inky is the perfect balance of mature and playful—past the wild days of kittenhood, but with plenty of energy and affection still to share. Shortly after his arrival, Inky was treated for a common feline upper respiratory infection and he’s now back to feeling like himself—healthy, curious and ready for a forever home. Inky is: * A wonderful age for adopters looking for a steady, loving companion * Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped * Known for his calm presence, soft purrs, and low- maintenance attitude Black cats like Inky are often overlooked in shelters, but we know there’s something timeless and magical about a sleek house panther who just wants to be loved. Ready to add a little ink to your life? Let Inky be the pen stroke that starts a beautiful new chapter—for both of you. 🖤📖 The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times.
